Reminder:
Check your membership cards or checkbooks to see when you paid
for your membership...if you were a member for the 2009-2010 year
your membership will be expiring on August 31st, so send in your
money soon. If I didn't get a card to you in the mail, check
your checkbooks for the date on your check...if you paid after May
1st, 2010, your membership will expire in 2011. I apologize
about anyone not receiving a membership card in the mail last
year...I had ran out of them and had to wait for a new shipment...in
the meantime, I re-printed some new ones on my printer at home, so
some may have received printed ones instead. I now have a
healthy supply of cards so I will try to get them out to you as best
as I can.
The easiest way for me to get the membership card to you is to
give it to you in person, either at a workshop or a meeting...this
saves us postage on mailing the cards to you, but also gives us a
chance to meet up and find out what your interests are and if we can
expand the club in any way.
Please remember to pay as soon as you can so that you will
continue to receive our club newsletter and other club
announcements. Membership payment for the current year is due
no later than November 1st, you can pay after that, however, you
will stop receiving the newsletter until membership payment is made.
Special exclusions are our lifetime members.
Print out a membership form and either bring to a meeting or
workshop or mail to our membership person.

Workshops, etc.
Wednesday, September 8th brings us to our first workshop for the
season. Workshops begin at 6:45pm and go until 8:45pm when we
will begin the cleanup process. If you need to leave early,
please clean up the machines you were working on, even if someone
may use them afterwords...failure to help with the cleanup process
will decrease the life of our equipment, so please give us a hand
and help with the cleanup.
Thursday, September 9th is our first club meeting for the
year...The meeting will be held in the Forrester Hall Building
(cafeteria) at 7pm and the special guest speaker will be announced
soon.
